Art Car: The Movie follows Rebecca Bass and her high school class as they prepare an entry for the Houston Art Car Parade. With almost 300 entrants and more than 300,000 spectators, the Houston Art Car Parade is the biggest in the world, and attracts talent from across the globe.
Against the hectic race to finish on time, Rebecca exposes them to the world of art and the camaraderie of tight-knit community, offering a glimpse of what life is like “outside the box.”
An existential meditation on why art cars, and self expression matter in an increasingly detached world.
