The bandh call has been given by various auto federations in Vidarbha.

Phasing out of autos for school children is part of the state transport minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil’s school bus policy that is expected to come in force from this year. Schools have been told to deploy buses to avoid risk of accidents.
